Conformance, Compatibility and Certification Overview
Vendor Compatibility
Fibrenet transceivers are designed and manufactured conforming to the industry agreed MSA standard (Multi-Source Agreement) in accordance with all relevant attributes and therefore operational compatibility.
All transceivers are tested extensively on vendor equipment with the latest IOS/software. Vendor compatibility is guaranteed.
Warranty
All Fibrenet branded products carry a minimum 3 year warranty, with advance replacement, and can be exchanged if there are any issues, through an RMA process.
ISO 9001 Production Environment
Fibrenet transceivers are manufactured in an ISO9001 certified quality management system production environment, guaranteeing all products are of a consistently high quality.
CE Mark and TÜV compliant
Fibrenet transceivers carry the CE Mark and are TÜV compliant. The CE mark certification indicates conformity with health, safety and environmental protection standards for products sold within the European Economic Area (EEA). TÜV means a sample of the products has been tested for safety and found to meet the minimum requirements of the German Equipment and Product Safety Act.
RoHS Compliant
Fibrenet products are also RoHS compliant. RoHS stands for Restriction of Hazardous Substances. RoHS, also known as Directive 2002/95/EC, originated in the European Union and restricts the use of specific hazardous materials found in electrical and electronic products (known as EEE).
FCC Conformity
The FCC mark is a certification mark employed on electronic products manufactured or sold in the United States which certifies that the electromagnetic interference from the device is under limits approved by the Federal Communications Commission.
